The Global Compact Local Network Egypt was launched in February 2004 by Mansour Group and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) in Egypt. In 2008, the Egyptian Corporate Responsibility Center (ECRC) became the Contact Point for the GCLN Egypt, with Mansour Group as the official Representative. The Local Network is managed by a Steering Committee that consists of 10 members: 7 private sector repre- sentatives, 1 academic institution and 2 NGO representatives.The Application is for networking and communication with the network members to keep them updated momently of the on going activities of their local network.
