Floatnote allows friends to communicate through location-based messages. You can place messages for your friends to receive anywhere in the world. When your friend arrives/departs from a specified location, they'll receive the message you sent them. You get to pick the location and whether the message should be triggered upon arrival or departure to that location.
Users can choose from three types of messages:
Personal
Place a message for yourself at some location. This is similar to a location-based personal reminder.
For a friend
Send a message to a friend that is triggered either by your (sender) location or their (recipient) location. In either situation, your friend is the only one that receives the message.
Shared
Share a message with one of your friends. The first person to reach the destination will receive the message, and the other person will be notified.
