The firefighter toolkit is a reference tool built specifically for the needs of firefighters, with significant input from firefighters. The tool contains two major components, a calculation tool and a hazmat placards tool.
The calculation portion performs several often used calculations for hose pressure, water needs and hose flow. The calculations it supports are:

The Placards section provides images of the various USDOT Hazardous Materials Transportation Placards from Code of Federal Regulations, Title 49, Transportation.
Included are images from all Class 1-9 placards. After clicking on the placards, the text description that applies to each placard is provided as well.
