My first reason for creating FOTOZINO was to help me and my fellow surfers and bikers in our travels around the world. And then I realised that FOTOZINO could also help our local community and the benefits would be two-fold - ecologically, because by buying locally we cut out unnecessary shipping and transport and economically, because by supporting our local traders and craftsmen, we would be improving their incomes: they would no longer need to set up a Web site they couldn’t afford or rival the big financial groups who rent all the best-placed shops at astronomical prices.
