This App was created to help veterinary practitioners, veterinary students and vet technicians deal with exotic species most likely to present to a veterinary practice including pet birds (parrots), reptiles (snakes, lizards and turtles) and small mammals such as rabbits, ferrets, and rodents (chinchillas, guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, gerbils). This short but comprehensive guide not only covers husbandry, nutrition and handling, but also provides an overview of common diseases, treatments and formulary for each exotic pet specie presented. An image gallery is also available in order to get some visual idea of certain common conditions that you might encounter in your veterinary practice.
