If you are planning on drywalling, plasterboarding or wallboarding a room or building, you will know that this is an expensive project. You need an accurate understanding of the area to cover, including the ceiling, and which size of drywall board is the least expensive for the project.

DrywallMate - one of the many excellent calculators from DepthMine Software - is an easy-to-use calculator for weekend/DIY enthusiasts or experienced professionals.

You can use an easy-to-use slider to chose from three interior layouts:

1: A building / room with a flat ceiling

2: A building / room with a pitched (peak) ceiling

3: A building / room with a three pitch ceiling (popular in loft coversions)

DrywallMate shows you the dimensions to enter. DrywallMate supports US (Imperial) and metric measurements so you can choose the one that suits you. You can also add the cost of drywall in popular sizes (e.g. 4' x 8' in the US, or 180cm x 90cm in Europe).
