We are a group of Board Certified Physicians with many years of academic as well as private practice experience.

We decided to start this website since we had patients coming into the office trying to figure out what their ailment was by going online before visiting us. The overwhelming majority did not have their accurate medical ailment after researching online. We then decided to evaluate current medical websites to see how they were set up. After many searches, it appeared there was not a single website that helped patients get to their likely ailment. Furthermore, the person on the website had to blindly pick a diagnosis that they thought they may have and then read the provided information online. Other websites we encountered that provided questions to help get an accurate medical problem list were generic and very generalized citing problems such as bruising, sprain, strain etc.

At that point, we decided to set up a website that was user friendly and would give the most likely medical problem list. This would be performed as it is in the office: asking pointed questions to help in narrowing down the medical problem list. Then the person can read about these problems on the list to get further information about them rather then guessing what their problem is and reading about it. In the end, it would be a better guide for the person to help him or her get an accurate medical evaluation. Finally, this website will guide you with whom to follow up with for further evaluation, if necessary.
