The Disaster Kit app will help you prepare for emergencies and disasters by building a personalized kit of items for you and your family. You simply choose the type of kit you need (Vehicle, Home, Evacuation "Bug Out", First Aid) and the app will generate a list of suggested items. Once the kit is created, you can customize it to suit your specific needs, adding and removing as many items as you need.

The Disaster Kit app will let you know if your personalized kit is complete using colors and percentages. RED indicates <75% of the Kit is complete, YELLOW indicates 75% of the Kit is complete, and GREEN indicates that the Kit 100% complete and ready for use.

Each kit is divided into 9 Categories for convenience: Clothing, Fire, Food, Heatlh, Security, Shelter, Tools, Water, and Wellness. Like the Kit itself, the status of each Category is indicated by color and percentage. RED indicates <75% of the items in the Category are complete, YELLOW indicates 75% of the items in the Category are complete, and GREEN indicates that the items in the Category are 100% complete.

There is an option to edit specific Category items and enter the expiration date of perishable items. A status report will let you know if you have expired items that should be replaced. You have the option to export your list to a .PDF file that can be shared, emailed, or printed. There is also a search feature that allows you to locate specific items quickly.
