INN ALLAHA WA MALAIKATAHU YU SALLUNA ALAN NABI YA AYYUHAL LAZEENA AMANU SALLU ALAIHI WA SALLIMU TASLI MA

Allah and His angels shower blessings on the Nabee (Prophet). You who believe! Ask blessings on him and salute him with a worthy salutation.

[Quran: Al Ahzab Chapter 33]

“This salutation is famous throughout the world. DaroodTaaj was written by Shaykh Abu Bakr bin Salem (R.A) who is buried in Aynat, Hadramawt. This salutation is an overflowing spring of blessings and is one of the favorite salutations of all lovers of the Prophet SallAllahu ‘alaihiwaAalihiwaSallim.

DaroodTaaj along with the recitation of Dua’ GanjulArsh and Darood Akbar were prescribed as a panacea to remove the Shaytanic stranglehold western music had on most of the American Muslims at that time.

Darood-e-Taaj are limitless benefits for this Blessed Darood Sharif [Salaat 'alanNabiSallAllahualaihiwaAalihiwaSallim] and they cannot all be written. A few are mentioned. If someone wants to see Rasool Allah SallAllahu ‘alaihiwaAalihiwaSallim then at the height of the month on YawmulJumu’ah [Friday] after salaatulIshaa having performed wudhu and putting on Attar he should recite this DaroodTajseventy [70] times and sleep after that. If he does this for eleven [11] nights, Inshaa Allah Ta ‘ala he will see Rasool Allah SallAllahu ‘alaihiwaAalihiwaSallim.

For clearing his heart, he should recite this Darood-e-Tajafter SalaatulFajr seven times, and again, three times after SalaatulAsr and Salaatul ‘Ishaa respectively. For repelling the Magic of Jinn and the Shayateen, and to be safe from an epidemic and any other diseases, he recites it eleven times.

For being safe from enemies and the Hasid [jealousy] of the Haasideen and the oppression of oppressive rulers, and to be rid of sadness and grief, he should recite this DaroodTajfor forty [40] nights after Salaatul ‘Ishaa forty one [41] times.

If anyone wants to see Sayyidinaa Rasool Allah SallAllahu ‘alaihiwaAalihiwaSallim in his dream, then he should recite SalawatulTajShareef, on eleven Friday nights continuously and that too on the advancing stages of the moon. The pre-requisites of reciting Salawat Sharif are below;

a) Make Wudhu

b) Put clean clothes that have been scented with pure scent

c) Face the qibla and recite salawat for 170 times then go to bed

For the sanctity of the soul, one should recite the salawat seven times after salatulFajar three times after salatulAsar and Isha each day.
