Crystal Guardian is a defense game for the iPad in which you play as a mystical guardian protecting the three magical orbs which are scattered across the globe. Each magic orb is located in a different terrain where you must protect them from an evil alien race called the Invaders. The player must use three different magical spells using the iPad's multiTouch capabilities to deter and destroy the Invaders before they reach and destroy the crystal. In between each level the player can use currency earned in order to unlock new spells or reinforce barricades that protect the crystal. The simplistic spell mechanics allow players of all ages to easily pick up the controls and play with no prior experience. The upgrade system allows players to have control of their experience and play the way they want to by choosing which spells to equip and which to upgrade.
