A ‘Clean Slate for SUDOKU’ (Patent #8132814) provides all the (81x9=729) possible digits in the beginning for the 81 Squares, wherein the puzzle enthusiast has access to a simple method for rapid puzzle Setup. Any puzzle obtained from elsewhere can be set up in about 90 seconds. Setup and solving can be full or partial to any extent, and can be initiated and completed in any order at any time as desired. A saved puzzle with its clean look can be recalled and continued anytime.

A simple method to enter, instantly or mid-stream, cognitively guessed solutions at any time and at any stage is provided.

The basic solving at any Square involves the systematic elimination of non-solution digits, and thus arriving at the only possible digit to be the solution. A maximum of 8 eliminations results the 9th as the solution. A Square is NEVER BLANK.

In case of any errors made in Setup, Guess, or digit eliminations, rapid & simple correcting methods are provided. The solver always has a ‘Clean Slate’ with only the possible solutions to look at, and continue solving to the end.
