The AES algorithm, combined with the Diffie-Hellman protocol for exchanging keys, the SHA-1 hash cryptography and transport via TLS/SSL ensure an infallible security.

How does it work?

You start a chat session with another Chotr user. The app automatically connects to one of our XMPP servers which in its turn securely contacts the other user. Once connected, our app offers various options to verify the other user's authenticity.
