Chetawani is Nepali for "Warning."This app is a portal to independently verified news about the unfolding situation in Nepal following the 7.8 magnitude earthquake which hit the area near Kathmandu, Nepal on April 25th, 2015. The app also provides access to the community-driven Open Street Map emergency response map of effected areas. This app was made by two student volunteers from the United World College Costa Rica. Please contact us with any suggestions, questions or ideas.We are doing our best to verify all information presented by the app (with contacts on the ground in Nepal), but of course in such a chaotic situation it is never really possible to know if anything is 100% accurate, so please excuse us for any mistakes.
