Calgary Basketball Academy (CBA) believes that team sport is a great vehicle in life to help kids develop teamwork, sportsmanship, accountability and responsibility. These 4 key points can be used in all aspects in life - not just basketball.At CBA we focus on the fundamentals. The fundamentals of basketball are the key in being an all around player. In our training sessions our players will learn and understand every position in basketball. In addition to that, players will focus on training in the position they most commonly play. Every session also includes lessons about the game itself, understanding the game, and what is expected from players when joining community teams, school teams and club teams. We train not only the physical skills of basketball but the mental skills as well.
