The Calendar Tile replaces the Windows Phone’s standard calendar tile. In place of a double-wide tile showing a single appointment, the Calendar Tile is a single-sized live tile that can be customized to show several appointments on its front and backsides. You can display appointments by date or subject, choose which calendars you want to synchronize, change tile colors and more.

NOTE: We cannot launch the build in calendar from the Calendar Live Tile; Microsoft has not exposed that functionality to third party developers.
