Calculate the minimum you should get receive when recycling your beverage containers at a recycling center in California.
This simple calculator uses the following minimum rates (as of 2013):
- Payments per unit:
- 10 cents for containers 24 ounces or greater
- 5 cents for containers under 24 ounces
- Payments per pound:
- $1.57 CRV for aluminum cans
- $1.00 CRV for clear PET plastic bottles
- $0.57 CRV for HDPE plastic bottles
- $0.105 CRV for glass bottles
