AvartsyCooking is owned and founded by Yetunde A., who is also the editor of AvartsyCooking.com. The blog began in December 2008 as a way to archive photos of Yetunde’s cooking. Yetunde was inspired to start the blog mainly because she noticed a dearth online for Nigerian food recipes and pictures.
AvartsyCooking is known today for its detailed recipes and step-by-step guides.
