The Architecture-Detector is a digital guide who shows interesting buildings around you using your current location. This version for Basel currently lists around 100 contemporary buildings from Swiss as well as international architects.The Architector is able to:- detect buildings close to you within a given radius, arrange them according to their distance and lead you to them with a compass.- show you general information like architect, typology, year of construction, adress and visiting information as well as exterior and interior images (about 350 images provided by the architects so far).- search the database through combined filtering by architect, typology and region and display the results on a map.- create a route of up to ten buildings you would like to vist, calculate the shortest way between them and pass this route over to the Maps application for navigation.The Architector is localized in English and German.If you want to help improving the Architector or give feedback please contact: architector.basel@gmail.com
