On downloading Angel-Cam first complete your registration, and add Family & Friends contact details and enter an over-ride call number and name.

You are ready for instant use whenever you encounter an unexpected incident. Simply touch the icon and everything happens automatically:

A video recording begins, the torch is switched on, alerts are sent to your Family & Friends.

There are three buttons on screen during the recording, which offer additional functionality but can be ignored:

1) An option not to send alerts (to be used within the first seven seconds),

2) An over-ride call button with name display to be put through to the number you programmed-in,

3) A Settings button to stop the recording and access additional features and edit details.

A Stop button ends the recording and the video automatically uploads to a secure remote server, shown in a progress bar. You have the option to send an "all-clear" message to Family & Friends at this point.

The alerts to Family & Friends are sent via e-mail, SMS text and / or to their Angel-Cam app. It provides:

- Sender name & the time of the alert,

- A link to a map showing sender's location,

- A link to the video of the incident (upload usually takes a minute or two subject to wifi or data network availability).

- An in-app text facility.

- An all-clear message (if sent).
