Wanting to wake up remote desktop or notebook to get emergent access? Wanting to save energy but still need on-demand services?

Air Wakener is the free application on Windows Phone to wake your sleeping computers on wired Ethernet network through Wake-on-LAN protocol (WOL).

Features:

- Send Wake-on-LAN magic packets

- Broadcast magic packets in current network subnet of your Windows Phone

- Broadcast and unicast magic packets to remote network subnet, which may be different from your Windows Phone, even across multiple routers over Internet if correctly configured.

- DNS: resolve IPv4 address for host name of your remote computers

- Probe the IPv4 address for the router WAN port, ie. Internet IPv4 address of your current subnet

- Easy and scalable host information management

You should prepare your remote computers and routers to enable receiving/forwarding WOL packets. The exactly steps depends on your hardware and operating systems. Normally you can check below steps.

1. Enable WOL option in BIOS power management

2. Enable WOL option in network adapter setting in device manager in operating system

3. Create a port forwarding rule in the router configuration tool if you want to wake up a host through Internet; the port number should be same as "Internet port" field of the host in our application
