AVDistanceCalc is a calculator for screen size and maximum recommended viewing distance. The formula is based on three different methods, discussed in depth on a blog post at ProAVSchool.com and is usable for Professional and Commercial Audio Visual System Design calculations.
This calculator helps you quickly solve for whatever variable is unknown at a detail level of video, computer, or high detail.
There is also a version for the iPhone, available in the App store.
