This APP provides the opportunity for anyone seeking a career in care to search for available job vacancies at ACH Care and for those involved in social care provision to check for available service user vacancies in both ACH Care residential and supported services.

Current job vacancies can be searched for by tapping on to any county where the App shows that jobs are available. The Service User vacancies area enables you to check for current vacancies in residential and supported living services.

The whistle-blowing function provides a tool to enable service users, employees or members of the public to raise any concerns they may have about ACH care services. It also sets out the circumstances under which workers who disclose information about malpractice at their workplace are protected under the Public Interest Disclosure Act 1998.

There is also an emergency referral function where a service user or social care provider can get in touch with ACH Care if emergency care is needed in additional to a non emergency referral call back function.

Referrals can be made by a social worker, care manager or the individual’s parents. With the advent of the Personalization Agenda and the drive towards Self Directed Support, this app also anticipates and looks forward to working more directly with service users and their families/advocates.
