ABC Phonetic Reader is used with children or anybody wanting to learn to read in English. It shows all the key sounds made by each letter of the alphabet. Then, using blend words, the learner is able to apply the sounds they have practiced to begin to read.
By practicing blend words the learner will begin to apply these technics when reading words from many sources, even those without the phonetic accents displayed.
An initial set of sounds and blend words are provided free with the app. Additional sounds and words can be bought using in-app purchasing.
Designed for use with children, it also helps non-English speakers to learn to read.
